Osteopathic Manual Therapy (OMT) is a holistic natural healing art associated with a scientific study of human anatomy and physiology. OMT offers an alternative to those suffering from pain and illness within the current healthcare system. Many somatic dysfunctions arise from neuromusculoskeletal disorders. The structural problems of bones, muscles, ligaments, tendons, and internal organs affect the blood and lymphatic circulation as well as nervous impulses.

Gentle touch and comfortable positioning relaxes the patient and releases soft tissue through fascia, while aligning the bones. Osteopathic manipulative techniques allow the body to heal itself. The healing effects are lasting because the improved tissue relationships help the person regain normal function to the best of one’s body’s ability.

New innovative osteopathic technique of Fascial Counterstrain enables to find the root cause by use of the cranial scan to treat specific human systems such as the musculo-skeletal, dural, visceral, arterial, venous-lymphatic, neural, and brain.  We palpate and detect the cause behind the problem through these systems.  Abnormal function or pain expressed locally or distally from another part of the body.

Osteopathic manipulation is not readily available for many people because an Osteopath is a conventional physician in the U.S.. Many of them don’t have the time for manipulation. We are non-physician Osteopaths who have had full training in Osteopathy in Japan and have continued each area of advanced training in the U.S. and other countries by notable Osteopathic doctors. We are proud to be able to offer this wonderful manual therapy and help people who need the most in the U.S. easily.

Our clients range from persons with chronic pain to those with brain disorders. We pay close and loving attention to each client’s unique problem. Enjoy the comforting hands filled with bio-healing energy integrating your physical, mind, and spirit for the total well-being of an individual.

Mari and her son Joe are AMAZING !
I met her about 4 years ago and was needing to go twice a week for awhile for my sciatica and lower back pain. The most helpful first session I have ever had. Mari is so knowledgeable with the world of Eastern Medicine. While examining me she found that my GUT was also involved with some of my pain, and like the chiropractor I have seen before, strongly suggested I avoid :  SUGAR Dairy and Gluten . I know I need to pay more attention to the foods I put into my body. Mari was able to help me with some home stretches and I then came only once a week and then once a month. She relieved me from sciatica and then we were able to move to some other physical and mental issues. I would also see Joe and it was nice to hear that he and Mari are on the same page of examining and solving my issues. Joe was great with maneuvering my body and holding pressure points. I always felt better and walked taller after a session with either one of them.  🙂
